Behind the large front desk, Chloe stands at her computer and types the name Cole Rockwell into her search engine and presses enter. The peak check-in time has come and gone at the Barracuda Blue, so the front desk clerk is doing some research on a guest that she checked in just a short time ago.

[MEMORY FLASH]

"Can I get your last name please?" Chloe asked the handsome man in front of her, as Kelvin brings the large baggage cart behind him.

"Rockwell, Cole Rockwell," he responded to her as he flashed his dashing smile back at Chloe, which immediately caused her heart to skip, despite her dating Alex.

"Ah yes," Chloe smiled back to him. "I see that you have booked a king suite, but I don't see that you have a checkout date as of yet, is that correct?"

"That's right," Cole noded back to her. "You see, I am good friends with Lyzz Thornton; I am here because I heard about her accident. And…I won't leave until I know my friend is okay."

"You're friends with Lyzz? Wait…were you here during the Pink Roses launch?"

"I was indeed," Cole revealed to her. "You have a good memory."

Chloe winked back to her. "It is hard to forget a handsome face," she told him as Cole feels his cheeks flush. "Anyways, I will in trouble if my boss hears me talking to a guest like this."

Cole chuckled to her. "No worries, I appreciate the compliment. And I will keep this between us, okay?"

"I'd appreciate that Cole," Chloe replied to him as she passes him a room key. "You're in room 305, the third floor. Kelvin can help you with your bags to your room."

"Great, thanks," Cole accepted the key and waved back at the front desk clerk.

[MEMORY FLASH]

Chloe takes a deep breath as she recalls the encounter. She knows that she is still dating Alex, but a powerful, rich man like Cole Rockwell could be good for her. Behind her, Arrow stands and sees her computer screen for a moment. He arches his eyebrow, wondering why Chloe is researching one of the guests. He moves back into the staff room, having not been seen by Chloe.

Chloe, meanwhile, continues to read some articles on Cole, the man that has clearly caught her interest and peaked her curiosity.

"It never hurts to have another friend," she whispers to herself. "Especially if they are as hot as Cole Rockwell."

A few hours later, Cole moves into the waiting room at the medical center and sees Kymberlynne, Liam, and Rachelle and waiting for the doctor to give them, another, update on Lyzz's condition, even though they are not expecting there to be a change.

"Kymberlynne, Liam, Rachelle, hi," Cole says as he moves up to them. "I…I got here as soon as I could."

"Oh my," Kymberlynne pulls him into a hug. "Cole Rockwell, I haven't seen you in years! You've grown up a lot!"

Cole chuckles back to her. "I certainly have," he replies to her. "I was at the Barracuda Blue a year or so ago for a launch party that Rockwell Mining did with Roboto."

"The one where Ash was shot and killed," Liam shakes his head back to him. "We will never forget that evening."

"It was the start of Lyzz's downfall, I suspect," Cole sighs to the family. "How is she?"

"We met the doctor the other day," Rachelle informs him. "And he doesn't think that Lyzz will ever come out of her coma."

"My God, it's that bad?" Cole asks in surprise. "I'm surprised that there is nothing they can do? Maybe we could hire a specialist? Something…"

"We are examining all options," Kymberlynne tells him. "But Cole, thank you, thank you so much for being here. It means the world to us that you're here for Lyzz. And now, how are your parents? I heard that your father, Mac, collapsed Rockwell Mining.

Cole uneasily nods back to her. "That he did," he admits to him. "He thought that the family could use a break from the drama, and to be honest, we have all been in a good place since then, so I think he made the right decision. And that's part of the reason why I was able to come here and support Lyzz; this is where I need to be, and I'm not leaving until I know she's better."

The following morning, Arrow storms off the elevator on the third floor of the Barracuda Blue and heads directly towards Orvilla's office. As the resort manager, he has a million things to do this morning, but on the top of his priority list to talk to his best friend because, in his mind, things have gone too far with her plan.

"We need to talk and I do not care what else you have on the go, this is important," Arrow announces as he opens the door, slams it closed, and moves to the bar to pour himself a cup of coffee.

"I'm beginning to think these tantrums are becoming far too frequent, Justin," Orvilla purses her lips back together. "What, dare I ask, as gotten you up on the wrong side of the bed, yet again?"

Arrow turns to her and glares back at her. "Your damn plan has ruined my life!" he hisses back at her. "This has gone too far, Orvilla! It…it has to end!"

"What has happened now? Just talk to me, Justin," Orvilla coaches him, knowing that she has to calm him down some way. She's worked too hard to let this, fit, ruin everything she has worked on.

"It's Leaf," Arrow looks back at her. "He…he left, Orvilla."

"Left? What do you mean, he left?"

"He left me," Arrow sighs back to her. "He dumped me; he can't get past the fact that I put a camera in our bedroom while he fucked Liam. He feels violated and that we betrayed him, and our relationship. And…I can't say that I blame him. And the last straw is that he hates lying to Liam about how the press got the pictures."

"He's gotten very close to Liam, it seems," Orvilla takes her cheek with her long fingernail. "Maybe this is for the best, Justin? Maybe, just maybe, Leaf has developed, I don't know, feelings for Liam? You certainly don't want that."

"These feelings never would have been developed if I hadn't encouraged him to sleep with Liam!" Arrow shrieks back to her. "Don't you see that this has cost me everything?"

"Yes, yes," Orvilla pats his back. "Listen to me, what's happened, has happened. Even if we end this plan, Liam and Leaf have slept together. Ending the plan, it certainly won't make Leaf forgive you overnight, that is true. So what should we do? We should carry out this plan, Justin. We have to secure our positions. All Leaf needs is time, and he will come around."

"Are…are you sure?"

"I am positive," Orvilla purses her lips together as she sits Arrow down on the sofa before she joins him. "Once we have Meccanica, and you're one of the top executives, he will realize how powerful you are, and how much you can change his life, again, for the better, and he will come back. I am certain of this."

"I…I just hate this."

"I know, I know," Orvilla tells him. "But short-term pain, for a very much longer term gain, okay?"

"You're right, I just have to ride this out."

"Exactly," Orvilla smirks back to him. "Trust me when I tell you that it will all work out."

"There's something else you should know, something interesting happened," Arrow looks back at her with an arched eyebrow. "Chloe, the front desk clerk, she's up to something."

Orvilla looks back at him in surprise. "What makes you believe that?"

"She checked Cole Rockwell into the resort," Arrow reveals to her. "He is here to visit Lyzz."

"I hate to burst your bubble, Justin, but checking guests in, that is her job?" Orvilla chuckles to him.

"Very funny," Arrow looks back at her. "After she was done, she did a Google search of him; she was trying to find out what his deal is."

Orvilla arches her eyebrow. "That is interesting," Orvilla whispers back to him. "Leave this information with me; I will find out exactly what Ms. Peller is hiding; she could become a key player in this game of chess we are playing."

Cole slowly walks up to the room where Lyzz is laying in a hospital bed, still in her coma. He peers through the window in the door and sees his friend. He gulps heavily as he sees her, almost unable to recognize her as the woman he knew and has cared about for years. He, finally, gets the strength to open the door and he slowly moves inside.

He is no stranger to seeing people in the hospital; over the years, he had many of his loved ones be in the hospital at some time or another, but it has never gotten easier. He moves closer to the bed and slowly sits down in the chair that is next to Lyzz.

"Hey Lyzzy, it's me, Cole," he whispers to his friend as he grabs her hand and squeezes it. "I came as soon as I could, and I'm not leaving until you're better okay?"

He looks at her fondly for a moment and thinks about how much time they spent together in the past. "We've had some amazing times together, haven't we?" he chuckles to her. "Some of the best times of my life was when I was with you. It … it makes me wonder why we never were more than friends? Not that I needed another love interest," he continues to chuckle to her, as he thinks about his numerous lovers that he has had over the years. "Maybe me being here is a sign that we should have been together, Lyzz."

He sighs as he caresses her face. "I know what you'd tell me right now, 'You have a son and are with his mother, Madi,'" he chuckles to her. "But I don't know if Madi and I are really meant to last forever. Something is just … missing."

He shuts his eyes as he thinks about his on-again off-again romance with his son's, Rocky, mother, Madison Stewart. Currently, they are on, but Cole has also been sleeping with her mother, Vivian Blackmore, since they left Kelsey Lake and moved to Portland. That, in of itself, should be a sign that they aren't meant to be together.

"I…I guess I'm asking you, Lyzz," Cole looks at his friend. "To wake up, to come back to me, so we can, uh, see if there is something between us. What do you say, huh? Let's see if there's more than just friendship here?"

/\/\/\

Once one of her shifts ends, Chloe, sometimes, will grab a room key and go into one of the lavish suites at the Barracuda Blue. She will have a bottle of wine and pretend that she can afford to stay at the resort; it is in these moments that she is able to reflect on her past and realize that she has the goals that she currently has.

She sits at the small table by the window and lets the warm sun hit her face before she takes a sip of the pinot grigio that she has in front of her. She would love to be on the large balcony that is next to her, but she is always worried that someone would see her and report her for being in the room. It is bad enough that she always has to double check to ensure the room she uses doesn't have a reservation coming in that day.

As she sips her wine, she can't help but think back to her high school years, which weren't that long ago. She and Ash were high school sweethearts; he was the quarterback on the football, and he wanted nothing more than for Chloe to be the head cheerleader. Together, they would be the power couple of the school, Ash would always tell her. However, that wasn't meant to be as the head cheerleader at Belview Academy was Lyzz. Soon after, Ash broke up with Chloe and started dating Lyzz, and they became the couple at the school, to the point, where they were named Prom King & Queen at the yearend dance.

Thinking of how Lyzz stole her life, still makes Chloe's blood boil. This is a large part of why she continues to hate Lyzz, and is even happy that she has fallen into a coma. She has made it her mission to, somehow, get back at Lyzz for taking the life she thought she should have had; and, she blames Lyzz, and the entire Thornton clan, for Ash's murder. She firmly believes that had they not agreed to the Pink Roses launch party that Ash would still be alive, and she would have had a chance to reunite with him.

"The longer you stay in your fucking coma, the better off we will all be," she whispers to herself. She sets her glass down on the table quickly when she hears the door to the suite start to open. Panicked, she grabs the glass and bottle of wine and looks around, wondering where she can hide. Without thinking, she slams the wine in the glass back, and then drops to the floor and moves under the bed, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"Hijo, we can't stay long, I still have rooms to clean," Paola says as she and Alex moves into the suite, unaware that Chloe is under the bed. "Plus you're supposed to be at the bar."

"I know, I know," Alex replies to her quickly. "I won't be busy for another hour or so. I just wanted to have a moment with you."

"You're a good boy," Paola smiles back at her son. "Let me guess, you're still thinking that with the news of Lyzz being in a coma, you want this to be our time to make our move?"

"I can't stop thinking that this could be the right time Mom," he replies to her quickly. "This could be the perfect time for everyone to know that I am Samuel's long-lost son; that I am a Thornton."

Under the bed, Chloe's mouth opens in shock as she mouths the words, "Oh my God."

"My dear son, you must listen to me," Paola caresses his face. "I have been plotting this for a very long time, and this is not the right time, you have to believe me, okay? Trust me when I tell you that your time will come, I won't let anything stop us. Do you think you can do that?"

Alex sighs heavily. "I will try, I…"

"You will do it," Paola cuts him off. "I've worked too hard to let anyone, including you, ruin this. I am your mother, I know what's best, okay?"

"Okay, okay," he chuckles. "You win. I'll let you get back to your rooms, but we should sit down for dinner soon and really hash out our next steps."

"That we can do," Paola says as they move towards the door. Alex peers into the hallway to ensure no one will see them leave before they exit the suite.

Once Chloe hears the door close, she emerges from under the bed, in absolute shock from what she just learned. "Alex is a Thornton?" she whispers to herself. "Paola slept with Samuel? Oh my God…this could change everything…absolutely everything."

/\/\/\

The following morning, Chloe moves towards the front desk as her morning shift is about to begin as her mind is still racing over the fact that she learned that Alex is a Thornton; she never imaged that Paola and Samuel would have had an affair years ago that produced her boyfriend. She hasn't figured out what she is going to do with the information, but she is glad that she has the information in her back pocket.

"Good morning, Chloe," Arrow announces to her as he moves up to the front desk as she sets her purse beneath the counter. "Orvilla is eager to see you this morning."

Chloe looks back at the resort manager with an arched eyebrow. "Orvilla wants to see me? Why?"

"Head up to her office and find out. I will cover the front desk while you're there."

"Uh, okay," Chloe gulps heavily as she has never been summoned to the CEO's office before. She can't help but wonder if she is about to be fired.

She feels her head starting to form beads of sweat as she steps off the elevator on the third floor. She slowly starts to walk towards Orvilla's office, hoping that she is able to not get fired; she really needs to keep this job as she doesn't have any other income.

"Good morning," Chloe announces to Orvilla as she opens the door to her office and moves inside. "I, uh, I heard that you wanted to see me?"

"Yes, that is correct," Orvilla closes her laptop and stands up from her chair. "Please, Ms. Peller, come in and close the door behind you. We have to get a few things straight."

Chloe gulps heavily as she closes the door and then looks back at Orvilla. "May I ask what this is about? It's…I've never been asked to come to the CEO's office before."

Orvilla chuckles back to her. "No, you haven't, have you? Well, don't worry dear, you haven't done anything wrong, at least not yet."

Chloe gulps again. "What is this about then?"

"You checked-in a guest recently," Orvilla looks back at her as her manicured fingernails clasp together. "A Mr. Cole Rockwell, does that ring a bell?"

Chloe nods back to her. "Yes, he is here to visit Lyzz in the hospital. I didn't put an end date on his room because he doesn't know how long he will stay with us."

"Yes, that's correct," Orvilla says back to her. "After you checked him in, however, you were investigating him, isn't that correct?" she asks her as Chloe feels the blood drain from her face. "Don't worry sweet child, it is not a bad thing. I, however, found it curious and so, I did some research of my own."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You and Lyzz, my niece who is in a coma, you have quite the history together, don't you? You were dating Ash before Lyzz did, and you both attempted to become the…what is the term called for those high school girls with the pom poms?"

"Cheerleaders?"

"Yes, God, what a dreadful activity to participate in," Orvilla rolls her eyes back to her. "In any event, it seems that you have reason to…dislike…my niece, is that correct?"

"I…I…"

"Don't stutter Chloe, it's not flattering. Please, just be honest with me."

"I suppose you can say that."

"Good," Orvilla grins back to her. "Then you can keep your job, despite hating one of the women that own this resort. As long…"

"As long?" Chloe asks her feeling her heart race in her chest. "As long as what?"

"You do exactly what I say," Orvilla continues to grin back to her.

"And what do you want me to do?"

Orvilla chuckles to her as she moves to her desk and opens the top drawer. She pulls out a syringe. "Give this to Lyzz," Orvilla instructs Chloe, who gasps in shock. "This will ensure that she stays in that coma for a very, very long time."

"You want me to drug Lyzz to make sure she doesn't come out of her coma? But…why? She's your niece?" a confused Chloe asks Orvilla.

"Do not question me," Orvilla warns her. "If you don't want you secret hatred for Lyzz to come out, which would result in you losing your job, you will do this. The choice is yours, Ms. Peller."

Chloe finds herself moving closer to Orvilla. She reaches out her hand and grabs the syringe. "I'll see what I can do."

"I knew you'd see things my way," Orvilla chuckles to her.

/\/\/\

A few hours later, Chloe moves into the medical center with the syringe in her pocket. After she agreed to help Orvilla drug Lyzz, she was given the rest of the day off and Arrow was going to cover her shift at the front desk. Orvilla thought that Chloe drugging Lyzz was more critical than her shift at the Barracuda Blue.

Cole steps out of the waiting room and arches his eyebrow when he sees Chloe. "Hey," he says moving closer to her. "You're the girl from the front desk of the Barracuda Blue, right?"

"Chloe, yes," she nods back to him. "Good memory."

Cole chuckles back to her. "How could I forget? You checked me into the resort. What brings you to the medical center?"

Chloe moves some of her hair behind her ear before she looks back at Cole, still thinking that he is a very attractive man. "I wanted to check in on Lyzz; I am not sure if you know this, but her and I, we actually went to high school together. We went to a private school on the big island together."

"I didn't know that," Cole admits to her. "I met her after high school, which makes sense as to why I didn't know you."

"It was a long time ago, but her and I, we were close back then," Chloe lies to him. "It's just so sad to think that she is in this coma, and who knows when she will wake up."

"That's why I came here," Cole reveals to her. "I couldn't let my friend go through this alone."

"Looks like we are in the same boat," Chloe locks eyes with him. "Our friend is fighting for her life and neither one of us want her to go through this alone."

/\/\/\

Chloe peers through the small window on the door that Lyzz is in. She can see the Thornton heiress laying in the small bed with her eyes closed. She steps back and looks at the syringe in her pocket before she takes a deep breath. She looks both ways to make sure none of Lyzz's family is around before she opens the door and moves inside. She closes the door behind her and sighs out.

"I'm glad that Cole went to get us some coffee," Chloe says as she turns to Lyzz. "Because that gives us a few minutes alone, doesn't it Lyzz?"

Chloe moves closer Lyzz and pulls the syringe out of her pocket. "I…I hate to do this," she whispers to her rival. "But I can't afford to get on Orvilla's bad side. And the longer you sleep, the better off we will all be."

With that, Chloe pushes the syringe into Lyzz's IV cord and drains the drugs into it. She pulls it out and quickly hides the syringe in her pocket again. Just then, she feels her heart skip a beat when the door opens to Lyzz's room.

"Can I help you?" Kymberlynne asks as she moves into her daughter's room.

Chloe slowly turns around and sees Kymberlynne. "Chloe? What are you doing here?"

"I, uh," Chloe gulps back to her. "I came to see how Lyzz was doing; after we learned about her from Carson, I wanted to come and wish her well."

Kymberlynne uneasily smiles back to her. "Well, that's very sweet of you," she tells the front desk clerk. "My daughter, my beautiful Lyzz, she can use all the prayers right now."

"She has mine," Chloe lies to her. "I am praying that she will wake up very, very soon."

/\/\/\

Cole quickly moves back into the medical center after he did a quick coffee run for him, Chloe, and Kymberlynne. He wants to ensure that they are comfortable while they are waiting for an update on Lyzz, which they hope will happen any time now.

He moves towards the front desk of the medical center when he sees Lyzz's doctor, Trevor Davidson, standing there looking at some of the files of his patients.

"Dr. Davidson," Cole says as he reaches the desk. "Do you have a moment? I am hoping to get an update on Lyzz Thornton."

"Are you family?" the doctor asks him quickly.

"Not technically, but I am on the list because Kymberlynne wants me to keep updated on Lyzz," Cole tells him, as the doctor nods back to him. "So, please, tell me, what is the latest?"

"I'm afraid there isn't much to share," the doctor replies to him. "In fact, I am surprised that she hasn't woken up yet. Based on the most recent cat scans, the swelling in her brain has gone down, so I thought she'd wake up."

"Oh? The last I heard, you didn't think she would ever wake up again? What changed?" Cole asks him out of curiousity.

"I ran more scans on her brain, and the swelling has reduced significantly, which wasn't the case a few days ago," Dr. Davidson admits to him. "Based on these latest tests, I would have assumed that Lyzz would show some indication of waking up."

Cole arches his eyebrow. "Then why hasn't she woken up yet?" Cole asks quickly. "What else is going on?"

/\/\/\

After talking to the doctor, Cole wants to go to Lyzz's room to share the update with Kymberlynne, Liam, Rachelle, and the rest of the family. As he moves towards the door, he freezes when he sees Chloe standing in Lyzz's room by herself.

Inside the room, Chloe looks at Lyzz and takes a deep breath as she just finished inserting the drugs from the syringe into Lyzz's IV and then Kymberlynne walked in. She, finally, feels like her heart rate has returned to normal. She can't believe that Lyzz's mother almost saw her drug her daughter to ensure she doesn't wake up.

"I don't know how many more times I'll have to do this, but I will have to be more careful," she whispers to herself as she pulls the syringe out of her pocket and looks at it before she looks at Lyzz. Outside the room, Cole looks on in shock, wondering what Chloe is doing with the needle.

"I better get back to the Barracuda Blue and tell Orvilla how it went," Chloe says. "Bye Lyzz, sleep well."

/\/\/\

Chloe opens the door to Orvilla's office at the Barracuda Blue and sees the CEO behind her desk once again. Orvilla looks up from her laptop and stands up to greet the front desk clerk.

"You're back," Orvilla says to her. "Tell me that it's done; tell me that you gave that drug to Lyzz?"

Chloe nods back to her. "I did," Chloe admits to her. "Kymberlynne walked in right after, but I was able to hide the syringe. No one suspects a thing."

Orvilla clasps her hands together. "Oh wonderful," Orvilla smiles back to her. "You did the right thing by helping me," she tells the younger woman. "And now, no one will ever know the truth Chloe, that you hate Lyzz."

"I…I don't know that I can keep doing this," Chloe admits to her. "Hopefully this one dose will keep Lyzz in her coma for a very, very long time."

/\/\/\

After leaving Orvilla's office, Chloe looks at her watch and realizes that it is late. She yawns a little and tells herself that it has been a long day and she can't wait to get home and crawl into bed. She moves towards the elevators and waits for one of the doors to open. When the doors do open, however, Cole emerges, also back from the medical center.

"Cole, hi," Chloe tells him. "How are things with Lyzz?"

Cole looks back at her, still wondering why she had a syringe in her pocket while visiting Lyzz. He knows that he must uncover the truth as this could help the doctors understand why Lyzz hasn't woken from her coma yet.

"No change," he sighs back to her. "What are you up too?"

"I was just about to head home; it's been a long day."

"You can say that again," Cole smirks back to her. "Do you want to come back to my suite and have a nightcap with me?"

Chloe looks back at him in surprise. "A nightcap? In your suite?"

"Did I say something wrong?" he asks her as she shakes her head no. "I…I could have sworn that I felt a connection with you, Chloe. We could…uh…explore that?"

Chloe feels her heart skip a beat as Cole flashes his smile back to her. "What did you have in mind?"

Cole moves closer to her and puts his hand on her face to caress it. "Let me show you," he whispers as he kisses her passionately.

Chloe gets caught up in her lust for the man in front of her. They part ways and their eyes remain locked. "Which way to your room?"

/\/\/\

About an hour later, Cole looks over at Chloe, who is fast asleep in the king-size bed that is in his suite at the Barracuda Blue. Once they were finished making love to one another, Chloe passed out as she was exhausted. Cole manages to crawl out of the bed and pulls some grey sweatpants onto his naked body. His chest still glows in the moonlight that is shining into the room.

Cole moves towards his lovers clothes that are scattered on the floor. He looks back at Chloe and sees that she is still fast asleep, so he picks up her jacket and moves to the balcony. Once outside, the warm Hawaiian air caresses his toned chest. He can hear the waves of the ocean softly rolling into the beach at the resort. He starts to rifle through her pockets until he finds the syringe.

He looks at it carefully and realizes that there is nothing inside of it. He arches his eyebrow, thinking about how he saw Chloe standing over Lyzz's body.

"Did you drug Lyzz?" he asks himself in horror. "And if so, why is your angle? Why are you doing this?"

/\/\/\

The following morning, Kymberlynne scurries into Café Tropical and sees Liam and Rachelle sitting together having some breakfast. She knows that her children still haven't forgiven her for disappearing after their father, Samuel, died, but she hopes that they will be civil with her since Lyzz has fallen into her coma.

"Good morning," Kymberlynne announces to her children as she sits across from them. "I'm glad you're both here."

"Has there been an update on Lyzz?" Liam asks his mother before he takes a sip of his orange juice.

"That's why I'm here," Kymberlynne replies to her son. "The doctor believes that she should have come out of her coma by now."

Rachelle looks back at her in surprise. "Then why hasn't she? Why is Lyzz still in her coma?"

"That's what we need to figure out," Kymberlynne says back to her. "We need to find out what is causing Lyzz to stay asleep."

/\/\/\

Cole paces back and forth in his suite, his mind is racing about the fact that Chloe could have drugged Lyzz with whatever was in the syringe that was in her pocket. Chloe has already left his suite as she had to work the front desk, which has left him alone with his thoughts. He can't help but wonder what Chloe's motives could be.

"It's not for me to decide what is happening here," Cole whispers to himself. "I…I have to call the police and let them investigate this."

He moves to grab his cell phone, but there is a knock on the door to his suite. He moves over to the door, opens it, and is surprised to see Orvilla standing in the hallway.

"Good morning, Mr. Rockwell," Orvilla purses her lips together before she looks at his toned chest, as he is still only wearing the grey sweatpants. "I hope I'm not interrupting."

"Actually…"

"Do you mind if I come so we can have a little chat?" Orvilla cuts him off and moves past him and into the suite.

"Is there a problem?" Cole asks her as he closes the door behind her.

"Not yet, but I'm here to ensure that we don't have one," Orvilla replies to him quickly. "I…I know that you've become, uh, close with Chloe Peller."

Cole arches his eyebrow back to her. "I am guessing that you know that she drugged Lyzz yesterday?"

"She did drug her? I thought so," Cole shakes his head back at her. "That is sick! What motive does she have?"

"One can never be sure about that," Orvilla chuckles to him. "Needless to say, you're going to keep your mouth shut, Mr. Rockwell. No one can ever know that Chloe slipped Lyzz a little something."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Cole asks her in shock. "Kymberlynne, Lyzz's siblings, they have to know what is happening!"

"I'm afraid they will never know and you will keep your mouth shut."

"No, I won't," Cole shakes his head back at her. "I'm calling the police and I'm telling everyone what I know!"

"Very well," Orvilla replies to him quickly. "But if you tell everyone, I will have to take action."

"Are you threatening me?"

"I'm giving you a choice," Orvilla glares back at him. "You can keep quiet about Chloe and Lyzz, or after you call the police, I will make a call to Portland and discuss a few entanglements that you're involved in with Madison Stewart."

Cole feels the blood drain from his face listening to Orvilla. "That's right, Mr. Rockwell," Orvilla grins back at him. "I know that you've been sleeping with your son's grandmother, Vivian, behind his mother's back, and last night, well, you strayed once again with Chloe. How do you think Madison will feel about that? My goodness, she might even take your son away from you; you don't want that, do you? Again, the choice is yours, keep your mouth shut, or you will lose your son, Mr. Rockwell; what will it be?"
