Cole Rockwell opens the front door of the Barracuda Blue and moves into the lobby. Earlier in the day, Cole saw a discharged Lyzz off to rehab. The police were going to charge her for reckless driving and driving under the influence for her car accident, unless she went to rehab for her drug use. Lyzz, realizing that she did need help, agreed to go. Before Lyzz left, however, she and Cole shared a kiss and they agreed to talk about their relationship when she gets back.

Once Lyzz departed, Cole called the Thornton family and requested that they meet him at the resort at Café Tropical, so he could let them know that Lyzz has left for rehab. He just hopes that they, especially Kymberlynne, understand why Lyzz didn't want a lot of fan fair of her leaving.

He moves into Café Tropical and sees the family sitting at a table. He observes that Rachelle and Liam are huddled closely together while Kymberlynne is on the other side of the table. He realizes that all of Kymberlynne's children are still struggling to forgive her for leaving them for so long.

"Hi everyone, thanks for coming," Cole announces as he moves up to the table and sits next to Kymberlynne.

"Of course," Kymberlynne purses her lips back to him. "This has something to do with Lyzz, yes?"

"Yes, it does," Cole nods back to her. "I was just with her. She…she's left for rehab."

"What?" Kymberlynne gasps back to him as Liam and Rachelle look at one another in surprise. The last thing that they thought would happen is that Lyzz would go to rehab without saying goodbye. "I knew she was getting discharged today, but I assumed she would have come home first."

"Was Lyzz willing to go to rehab?" Liam asks Cole next. "Like, was she ready to get help?"

Cole nods back to the family. "She wanted to go and get help," he tells everyone. "She just didn't want it to be a big production when she left the hospital. That's why it was only me with her, and she wanted me to tell you that she had left."

"I am so proud of her," Rachelle tells her family as she tries to hide the fact that she is now doing cocaine on a regular basis. "Lyzz will come back stronger than ever."

Upstairs in the CEO office, Orvilla sits behind her large desk looking over the latest financial statements for the Barracuda Blue. Before Lyzz's accident, she was doing the accounting for the resort. Since then, Arrow has taken over the duties as they both know that, eventually, Lyzz would return.

"Morning," Arrow says as he opens the door to the office and moves inside. "Ah, you got the business financials. Let me know if you need anything else from me; I am not too familiar with the preparation of them."

Orvilla nods back to him. "They aren't bad, you followed the template pretty well. But I am looking forward to Lyzz being back. You have enough on your plate."

"That I do," Arrow nods back to her. "I have news on that front, by the way."

Orvilla takes off her glasses and places them on the desk before she looks back at Arrow with an arched eyebrow. "You have an update on Lyzz? What is going on now?"

"She was discharged from the hospital," he reveals to her as her eyes open wider in surprise. "But considering she was high as a kite when she got into her car accident, the police wanted to press charges against her. They agreed not press charges on one condition."

"What was this condition?" Orvilla asks him.

"If she went to rehab," he continues to tell her. "Which she agreed too."

"Oh goody," Orvilla rolls her eyes. "So little Lyzzy went to the Betty Ford clinic! Damnit!"

"This isn't the end of the world," Arrow tries to keep her calm. "When she comes back, she still won't have any desire to run the company."

"How can you be so sure?" Orvilla asks him.

"She has never, not once, expressed interest in Meccanica," Arrow reminds her. "That's the truth of the matter."

"I suppose that is true," Orvilla sighs heavily to him. "It just feels like all of my hard work is going down the drain. And I won't let this stop me from keeping this company. I've too hard to let this go now."

After seeing the Thornton's about Lyzz, Cole wants nothing more than to head back to his suite to get some rest. He has been at the hospital for so long, he feels like he hasn't had a great sleep in weeks.

He steps off the elevator and heads to his elevator but freezes when he sees someone waiting outside of his suite door. He arches his eyebrow when he realizes that it is Chloe waiting for him.

"Chloe, what are you doing here? After you were fired, I thought you wouldn't be allowed back on the property."

Chloe groans back to him. "I came here to get the rest of my belongings," she reveals to him. "And I wanted to see you so I could explain."

"That you stole a necklace?" Cole looks back at her with intent. "What do you want to explain?"

"That I am innocent!" Chloe shrieks back to him. "I am not a thief! This is all a huge misunderstanding. I…I wanted you to hear this from me since we have grown closer, or at least I thought we had."

"We had sex once," Cole reminds her. "I wouldn't define us as being close, Chloe. But, I appreciate you telling me. I'm just not sure what you want me to do with that information."

"I will prove my innocence," Chloe tells him. "And when I do, I'm going to sue this place for every last penny it has. Everyone here will finally get what is coming to them. And then, maybe you and I can get closer than we currently are."

About an hour later, Cole steps out of the shower and wraps a white towel around his waist. He starts to dry himself off but he hears a knock on his door. He arches his eyebrow, again, wondering if Chloe came back to tell him something else. He, secretly, hopes not because he can sense that she is slowly becoming unhinged and he would like to keep his distance from her. He only slept with her to see if she was the one drugging Lyzz, and he discovered that she did have a syringe in her pocket. Thankfully, he was able to stop the drugging because now Lyzz has emerged from her coma.

He opens the door to his suite and sees Orvilla standing in the hallway. She, however, immediately moves into his suite. "Put some clothes on, Mr. Rockwell. We have to talk."

"Uh, hello to you too," he says as he pulls a t-shirt over his muscular chest and grabs some grey sweatpants. "I can't imagine what you want to talk about."

Orvilla chuckles as she turns to face him. "I heard that my niece has departed for some rehabilitation center."

"You heard correct," Cole admits to her. "Lyzz will be better and stronger whens he gets back from rehab."

"Yes, yes," Orvilla looks back at him. "I just hope you haven't forgotten what I know about you."

Cole gulps heavily back to her. He does remember when Orvilla revealed to him that she knew about him sleeping with Chloe behind Madison Stewart's back, but also that he had been carrying on an affair with Madi's mother, Vivian Blackmore, in Portland before he came to the Barracuda Blue. He also realizes that if Madi found about the affair, she would be devastated, and might keep their son, Rocky, away from Cole.

"How could I forget?" Cole finally responds to her. "You were blackmaililng me, Orvilla. That isn't something that just escapes one's mind."

"I am glad you remember," Orvilla winks back at him. "Because you never, ever, know when I will need you to help with something. And, you would be a complete and utter fool to not do what I say, because I still have the power over you, Mr. Rockwell."

"What is it, exactly, that you want, Orvilla?" Cole huffs back at her, annoyed that she is threatening him again.

"I just wanted to remind you what I know and that I am in control of this situation," she informs him. "Now that I've done that, I'll let you get back to, whatever it was, that you were doing. Ta, ta!"

Cole rolls his eyes as Orvilla storms out of his suite. He runs his hands through his hair wondering how he will be able to get out of her control.

An hour later, Cole is sitting at the bar in Café Tropical with two shots of tequila in front of him. He picks one up and slams it back before he winces his face as the alcohol burns as it goes down his throat. He hates that Orvilla is blackmailing him with the fact that he has strayed on Madi. What's worse is that he created this entire mess by having the affairs in the first place, but he has realized that deep down he and Madi aren't meant to be together. He stayed because he was trying to give his son the family that he thought he deserved. He is about to shoot his next shot when someone sits next to him.

"It seems like you read my mind," Arrow tells Cole before he orders his own shot of tequila. "It's been a hell of a day."

"For you and me both," Cole chuckles to him. "I'm Cole, by the way."

"Arrow," he replies before he shoots his shot. "Damn, that's smooth."

Cole continues to chuckle back to him. "Arrow, that's a cool name."

"It's a nickname," he says. "Me and my boyfriend, we both have the same name…Justin…so to keep each other straight, I go by Arrow, and he goes by Leaf."

"Neat," Cole tells him. "Also cool that you have a partner. My brother, Lex, he is also gay."

"Oh yea?" Arrow chuckles back to him. "Here, I thought you were the good looking one, but if there's a gay in the family…"

Cole chuckles back to him. "Smooth, man. But you have a boyfriend?"

"We are on the outs right now," Arrow admits to him. "Part of the reason why I'm drinking tonight. I don't know if we will get back together."

"Ah, I'm sorry, that's tough," Cole tells him. "If there's anything I can do to help…"

They lock eyes with each other for a moment. "Are you sure you're not gay?" Arrow asks him with an arched eyebrow. "It might be me, I'm feeling some sexual tension right now."

"I could blow off some steam," Cole admits to him. "And, I'm pretty fluid. I've…I've been with guys before."

Arrow doesn't need to hear it twice. He leans over and kisses Cole passionately. "Come back to my place?" Arrow asks him. "I'll blow you and then ride you until you…"

"Let's go, that's exactly what I need," Cole says as lust fills his eyes.

The following morning, Cole is standing in his suite only wearing some white briefs. He has a grin on his face as the previous evening went into a direction that he hadn't expected: he and Arrow had intense sex with one another. After it was over, he came back to his suite at the Barracuda Blue and passed out. He hadn't realized how much pent-up frustration he was carrying with him, but his time with Arrow certainly helped with that. And he can't deny that Arrow was very much into it.

When he woke up, however, he realized that he, once again, cheated on Madi. He hates that he continues to betray her in that way. Which is why he has made a decision to go to Portland to talk to Madi. He has realized that if he goes to Madi and tells her the truth, he can not only stop this guilt from happening, but he can also escape Orvilla's clutches.

"My flight is in an hour," he whispers back to himself. "And I will still be back at the Barracuda Blue before Lyzz gets back from rehab. But I will be a free man, which will be great because we might have a conversation about our future together."

In the middle of the Maui, there is a town center. This is where the majority of the population of the island resides as there are shops, restaurants, parks, schools, grocery stores, and the medical center in the area. There is a large strip mall that has a grocery store, liquor store, and a swimwear boutique. Behind the strip mall, there is a four-story walk-up apartment building. On the third level of the building, Chloe has her apartment. She moved to the apartment once she got the job at the Barracuda Blue because rent is cheap and it wouldn't cost her as much to take the float plane to and from the main island every day.

In the apartment, Chloe sits at the island in her kitchen, which also serves as the small bar. She has two matching bar stools and she is sitting on one of them. She is taping her long nails on the marble counter top as her mind is racing over the fact that she was fired from the Barracuda Blue. Part of her wants to jump for joy as she always hated her job but the other part of her wants to ring Carson's neck for firing her without cause. She still has no idea how or why he believes that she stole a gold necklace from a guest from the resort.

Her mind is also thinking about Cole and Alex; just days before she was fired, she ended up sleeping with both men, for different reasons. She was with Alex because they are dating and she wanted to be with him; she was with Cole because she found him incredible attractive after she checked him into the resort and after she did some research on him, she realized how wealthy he was. Realizing that she could use him in her corner, they slept together.

She looks at her watch. "Ugh, another thirty seconds," she whispers to herself. Earlier, she was at the grocery store when she felt faint. She realized that she might have been late with her period, and she worried that she might have been pregnant, so she bought a pregnancy test and is now waiting for the results. "I can't be pregnant; I just can't be."

If she is pregnant, she thinks to herself, she will have no idea which man is the father, which will add a new complication in her life, which she doesn't need. She, then, hears a soft 'bing!' from her phone, which means that it is time for her to look at the results.

"You're not pregnant," she tells herself. "You're not pregnant."

She stands up from the stool and takes a deep breath. "But I have to know for sure," she says. "So, here goes nothing…"

PORTLAND, OREGON

Cole slowly moves up to the large mansion in Portland that he currently lives in with Madison, their son Rocky, and Madison's parents, Vivian Blackmore and Chase Cooper. The mansion has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, a pool, tennis court, and a 5-car garage. The space has been more than enough for everyone that is living there since they all left Kelsey Lake. Cole, however, doesn't feel like he is at home as he moves closer to the front door.

He, finally, opens the door and moves inside. Within a few seconds, Madi appears from the living room.

"Well, hi, stranger," she says as she comes up to him and pulls him into a hug. "I can't believe you were at the Barracuda Blue for so long."

"Yea, sorry," Cole tells her as they exit their embrace. "Lyzz only just woke up from her coma. I…I'm going to head back once she's done with rehab."

"You're going back? Is that really necessary?"

"I have to be there for her," Cole says back to her. "Is Rocky here? I'd love to see my son."

"He is at school," Madi informs him. "Maybe you can pick him up?"

"I'd love that," he tells her. "But I guess that means that you and I can talk."

"I'd like that," Madi replies to him. "Because I don't like hearing that you're going back to the Barracuda Blue."

"That's the thing," Cole locks eyes with her. "I've realized, Madi, that we aren't meant to be together. I know we thought we were after everything that happened between us and Celeste Baldwin, but the truth is, I…I don't think I am in love with you anymore."

"What?" Madi gasps back to him. "Is…is there someone else?"

"No one in particular," Cole admits to her. "But, I have strayed, multiple times," he continues to tell her as a tear falls down Madi's cheek. "And that is a sign to me that we shouldn't be together. I…I can't keep hurting you. I…I just hope that you can forgive me one day."

Madi slaps him hard across the cheek. "How dare you!" she shrieks back to him. "I…I could keep you from Rocky!"

"I know you could," Cole tells her. "But you won't. Because you know how much my son loves me. And I love him. And we deserve to show him that you and I know how to be happy, and if you're honest, neither one of us are happy right now. I'm…I'm sorry Madi."

"Don't be," Madi wipes a tear from her cheek. "Just get the hell out of house before I say or do something we will both regret!"

"I'll go," Cole whispers back to him. "And I'll be in touch about seeing Rocky."

/\/\/\

Two days later, Cole is back in his suite at the Barracuda Blue. He just finished a FaceTime call with Rocky, which has warmed his heart as he has missed his son while he has been there. Since getting back to Maui, Cole has tried to lay low until Lyzz returns from rehab. He has have room service bring him his meals as he doesn't want to see anyone but Lyzz.

He puts his phone down and gets up from the bed. He moves to the window and looks out at the beautiful scenery that is in front of him. Part of him thinks that he should be out exploring, but he also knows that he runs the risk of running into Arrow, Orvilla, or Kymberlynne and that is the last thing he wants.

"Hopefully you're back soon, Lyzz," he whispers to himself as he hears a knock on the door of his suite.

He moves to the door and opens it with a gasp and then an immediate smile. "Lyzz! You're back!"

They hug tightly before he pulls her into the suite. "How….how are you feeling?"

"Uh, better, better than I've felt in a very long time," Lyzz nods back to him. "I went through a lot of therapy to help me cope with my grief over the loss of Ash, and made me realize that I was turning to drugs to numb my pain."

"You're very brave for going through that," Cole tells her. "I know firsthand about drug use and how it can spiral out of control so quickly."

"Thank you for supporting me," Lyzz looks back at him. "I didn't realize how much I needed you until I saw you at my bedside in the hospital."

"I came as soon as I heard, Lyzz," Cole tells her. "And…I meant what I said. I…I think there might be something between us."

Lyzz kicks her lips as she looks back at him. "If we do this, Cole, we would be crossing the line from friendship. Are…are you sure that you want to cross that line?"

Cole chuckles back to her. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you, I think that's a sign. How about you?"

"I haven't been able to stop thinking about you either," she admits to him. "I think the biggest regrets we have in life are the chances we don't take."

"Are you saying…?"

"I'm saying this," Lyzz says as she leans up and kisses him on the lips. The kiss lasts for a moment before they kiss again, this time with more passion.

He picks her up in his arms and moves her to the bed, where he starts to undress her as his lips start to explore her neck and she starts to moan in pleasure.

/\/\/\

The next morning, Cole skips down the hallway of the Barracuda Blue. He and Lyzz spent the previous night making love to one another all night long. She has already freshened up and is heading downstairs to get them a table at Café Tropical so they can have breakfast together. Before Cole will join her, however, he had a stop to make. And it is something that he has been looking forward too since he returned to the Barracuda Blue.

He knocks on Orvilla's office and opens it before he can hear anyone say 'come in'. Once he is inside the office, he sees the CEO behind her desk reviewing some reports on her laptop.

"What the hell are you doing here?" she barks as she looks over and sees Cole entering her office. "You have no business in here, Cole."

"Actually, we do," he crosses his muscular arms over his chest as he moves up to her desk. "And you're going to listen to what I have to say because I'm tired of you thinking that you have this power over me."

Orvilla chuckles back to him as she stands up to face him. "I am holding all the cards, Cole. Or need I remind you of what I know."

"I went to Portland," Cole reveals to her as Orvilla arches her eyebrow. "And I told Madison everything. We…we've ended our relationship as a result and we are both moving on."

Orvilla, for once, appears to be speechless. She doesn't understand how, or why, this keeps happening to her, but she feels, as if, all the walls she has built up, are slowly crumbling down around her, and she doesn't like it.

"Cat got your tongue, I see," Cole looks at with her with sly grin. "I guess I'm here to tell you that you have nothing on me, Orvilla. Your game is over, and you, once again, are the loser."

/\/\/\

A short time later, Cole reaches Lyzz's table in Café Tropical. He leans over and kisses her quickly before he sits across from her at the restaurant and he, immediately, starts to look at the menu.

"I am absolutely famished," Cole admits to her as the waiter brings them each a cup of coffee.

"So am I," Lyzz chuckles back to him. "I guess we worked up an appetite last night, huh?"

"I hope you're not complaining?"

"Not at all," Lyzz shakes her head back to him. "The truth is, I needed that. It was long over do. And you, you're amazing."

"Hey, you're not too shabby yourself," he winks back to her.

Before Lyzz can say anything else, Chloe comes rushing up to their table in a panic. "Cole, thank God I found you."

Cole arches his eyebrow as he looks at Chloe and then quickly over at Lyzz. "Oh, Lyzz, I…I didn't realize you were home."

"I just got home yesterday," Lyzz tells Chlose. "But we are actually in the middle of breakfast. Can this wait?"

"No, it can't," Chloe replies as she sits at the open chair and looks over at Cole. "I…I have news."

"Okay? What's up?" Cole asks her quickly.

"I'm pregnant," Chloe reveals as Cole and Lyzz gasp in shock. "And you're the father, Cole. We are going to have a baby together."
