SEASON ONE: Kent was thrilled when Lydia finally divorced Mac so they could be together, since they had been having an affair for years. Kent moved into Lydia's penthouse and together they worked to ensure that Blackmore Ltd. was the top diamond mining company in the world. Kent outbid Mac on the Serbian mine and was about to outbid him again on the mine in Russia, but Mac was able to land that mine. Lydia and Kent were also keeping some secrets: on the day that Mac learned of their affair, Lydia broke into Mac's office and learned what he was going to bid on the Kelsey Lake mine. She told this information to Kent, who was able to outbid Mac for the mine. Lydia then became pregnant with Lex and she switched the tests to show that Mac was the father, to keep him from wondering how he lost the Kelsey Lake mine. Kent was upset with her decision, but he has been keeping the secret the entire time that he is Lex's father.

Kent decided it was time to tell the truth and Houston asked him about his truths. Kent tried to cover up, but Houston was on to his father. Lydia covered his tracks and warned Kent that no one could ever learn the truth. He agreed. He suggested to Lydia that she try to take over Rockwell Mining. He was thrilled when she was able to obtain the proxy's from her children.

SEASON TWO: Kent was devastated to learn that Houston died in the car accident. He and Vivian Blackmore, Houston's mother, tried to cope. Vivian was then shocked when Kent proposed to Lydia; he wanted to give the family some good news, but Vivian thought it was disrespectful to Houston's memory. Lydia, of course, accepted the proposal. The loss of Houston also triggered a new emotion in Kent; he longed to tell Lex the truth that he was really his father. He told Lydia, who was opposed to the idea as she knew that Mac and Lex would be devastated. Kent insisted however, and demanded that he tell the truth prior to the wedding as he thought Lex would want to see his family together. Lydia agreed, but feared the worst. Kent then revealed the truth to a shocked Mac and Lex. Lex punched him, thinking he was lying. Lydia then confirmed the story. Mac and Lex were devastated. Lex lashed out at Kent, leaving him devastated. Lydia tried to tell Kent that he will come around, but Kent wasn't sure. Vivian, meanwhile, was determined to stop the wedding. Lucinda gave her information after the truth about Lex was revealed. On the day of the wedding, Lydia was arrested for corporate espionage for when she gave Kent the information from Rockwell Mining to take over the Kelsey Lake mine years ago. Kent soon got her released due to lack of evidence. Kent, meanwhile, tried to reach out to Lex, who pushed him away. Kent was then concerned when Lex became ill, and was unnerved when Jarek revealed that he and Lex are married. Lydia told him that she always knew that he was gay but Kent was still rattled. Kent was then shocked to hear that Lex had collapsed. He and Lydia rushed to the hospital.

SEASON THREE: Kent pressured, with Lydia's help, the police to uncover who was the one drugging Lex. He then learned that Lex's liver was failing him and he needed a transplant or he would die. Kent learned he was a match and offered to donate part of his lung to save Lex. Mac thanked Kent for being so thankless. Before he went into surgery, Lydia obtained control of Blackmore Ltd. The surgery happened and the transplant was a success. Kent thought it was nice when Lex thanked him and believed that maybe they would have a relationship after. Shortly after, Lydia was presumed dead which left Kent devastated. Stacey was left with her POA, which means, while Kent was recovering, Stacey was in charge of Blackmore Ltd. Stacey was determined to do a good job, even though Kent asked her if she would mind if Lex could take over. Stacey agreed, but realized that Kent was mixing his pain pills with alcohol. Stacey continued to watch Kent mix his pills and alcohol and then used his stoned-state to get him to approve deals. Stacey was able to convince Yuri and the Kremlin Diamonds to leave Rockwell Mining and to join Blackmore Ltd. Kent was happy with her success but warned her that she had to always have something going on as CEO. Soon after, the new POA arrived. Stacey and a stoned Kent had a fight over the signing of it; Kent fell back and collapsed as his stitches came out. Stacey left him bleeding and rushed out. Lex found Kent and rushed him to the hospital; there, Kent revealed what Stacey had done. Shocked, Lex confronted his sister, who admitted that she didn’t like who she had become while being the CEO. Lex got her to sign over the POA to Lex, meaning he was running Blackmore Ltd. Lex forgave Stacey, but Kent vowed revenge on her.

SEASON FOUR: Kent learned that the Kelsey Lake mine contract was going to be up for renewal and he agreed to let Lex, who was still CEO of Blackmore Ltd. negotiate the contract on behalf of Blackmore. Meanwhile, Kent vowed to get revenge on Stacey for how she let him drug himself following his transplant. After Celeste and Vivian's custody hearing, Kent got a phone call saying his plan had failed, unaware that Lex overheard (he had arranged for Stacey to be shot). Stacey, however, was soon shot at the club, which pleased Kent. At the hospital, Kent and Vivian were, then, stunned to learn that Lydia and Houston were alive because Lucinda had faked their deaths and had been holding them hostage in her basement. They reunited with their son. Kent and Lydia were then reunited. Soon, Lex told Kent that he would run Blackmore Ltd. until everything had calmed down. Kent agreed since his son was doing such a good job, however Houston wanted back into the action. Kent tried to keep the peace between his sons as Houston didn't trust Lex. Lex, then, overheard a phone call between Kent and his shooter. Lex asked Brock and Tanner to work together to investigate; they planted a bug in the penthouse, which allowed Lex to learn the truth about Stacey's shooting. Kent, then, reasked Lydia to marry him and she accepted. Kent was furious with Lex when Rockwell Mining outbid Blackmore Ltd. for the Kelsey Lake contract. Lex revealed that he purposely lost he mine because of Kent shooting Stacey! Houston was livid with his father and punched him. It got worse when Lydia learned the truth and ended their engagement. After hearing Kent out, Lydia agreed to take him back, but then Sabine revealed Lydia and Houston's affair before Odette blew up the Rockwell mansion.

SEASON FIVE: Kent survived the bombing at the Rockwell mansion, but was left reeling from the fact that Houston and Lydia slept together. He lashed out at his son and dumped Lydia. Vivian pleaded with him to forgive Houston. Sabine, meanwhile, told Kent that Lydia and Mac would reunite unless they worked to break them up. He was skeptical. He was arguing with Houston when he collapsed! Kent suffered a minor stroke but was okay. The experience made him make up with Houston and he realized he did love Lydia. He went to Lydia, who was skeptical about reuniting as she had started to have feelings for Mac again. Kent agreed to work with Sabine to break them up. Sabine revealed that she had been working with Yuri and was providing him information on Rockwell Mining. They showed up at Mac's office and announced that they knew that Lex provided Mac with details of the Blackmore Ltd bid for the Kelsey Lake mine bid years earlier; they threatened to send Mac and Lex to jail for insider trading unless Mac sent Lydia back to the penthouse and Mac reunited with Sabine. Mac agreed. Lydia moved back to the penthouse and insisted that she and Kent have separate rooms. He agreed but proposed shortly after. Lydia accepted. Kent was stunned when Lydia, then, revealed that she was going to confess to corporate espionage unless they drop this game. Lydia reminded Kent that he would also go to jail for trying to kill Stacey. Kent agreed, which left Sabine upset. Vivian showed up to support Kent and they ended up in bed. Shortly after, Sabine arrived and slept with Kent as well! They embarked on a torrid affair. Kent then asked Houston to discuss the Kelsey Lake mine bid with Grant Shaw; Houston agreed. Vivian then told Kent that she was dying and Deacon backed her story.

Sabine was upset but Kent told her that they would reunite once Vivian died. Vivian and Houston were thrilled when Kent moved back in. Kent then suggested to Lex that he run Blackmore Ltd, since Kent was busy with Vivian. This annoyed Houston, but Lex agreed. Houston suggested to Kent that he marry Vivian as her final Christmas present. He proposed, Vivian accepted and Sabine was crushed. On Christmas Day, they were married but Sabine then announced that Vivian was faking her illness!

GOLD DIGGERS: Kent was in the process of having his marriage to Vivian annulled. He was furious with her for faking her terminal illness to get him to marry her. Kent told Vivian that they had no future together. He also told Houston he was done with his mother. Houston was upset but understood. Houston, however, continued to tell Kent that Lex wasn't fit to be the CEO of Blackmore, but Kent thought his youngest son was doing a fine job. Kent and Sabine reunited, but Sabine quit Blackmore Ltd. and went to work at the wild preserve foundation, where she was investigating some land that was illegally mined on years ago which caused environmental damage. Kent was uneasy about this. Sabine realized that Kent and Chase Cooper worked together to mine the land but were never caught.

WALKING DEAD: Kent was furious with Sabine when she revealed that she found documents in his study that confirmed that he paid for Chase's politician campaign years earlier and as a result, Chase allowed Kent to mine on restricted lands for Blackmore Ltd. Kent told her that if anyone knew, he and Chase could be in serious trouble. Sabine told him that she wanted to help him but Kent was skeptical. Sabine called Deacon, Chase and Kent together on the beach, where she lit a fire. She dropped the documents into the flames, unaware someone was watching them, snapping pictures of the entire ordeal. Once the foursome left the beach, the figure grabbed the documents and saved them from being burnt. That night, Kent and Sabine grew closer and they shared a steamy kiss. It was short-lived however, as Kent received a note saying that they knew what he had done. Kent blamed Sabine for the mess and pushed her out of his life. Kent, meanwhile, continued to tell Houston that Lex was going to remain as CEO of Blackmore Ltd. As soon as the truth about Lex changing Stacey's paternity tests came out, Kent fired Lex.

visited Kent and revealed she was the one who sent that cryptic letter
to him; for her silence she wanted him to endorse Deacon's campaign
and provide her with a job at Blackmore Ltd. Kent agreed. After
talking with Lydia, Kent seemingly warmed to Sabine and agreed to talk
to her after his announcement about Blackmore Ltd. On Christmas Eve,

Shortly after, Lydia revealed to Kent that Lloyd told Carmen that the amendment she "found" for Mac's will was real, even though she forged it. Stacey and Kent continued to grow closer and eventually they had sex! Stacey confessed to Lydia, who confronted Kent as she was crushed. Kent told Houston that he would never have Stacey again.

THE SWITCH: Kent struggled to get over the death of his child that he shared with Stacey. To help take his mind off the child, and Stacey, he reunited with Lydia, which didn't sit well with others. Kent then ran into Celeste and her baby, and was instantly attached to the girl. Mac warned Kent to stay away from him and his daughter. Kent then caught Grant snooping in his penthouse and was stunned to hear Grant's theory: that Kent is really Lucinda's other son! They did a DNA test, which confirmed that Kent is not a Rockwell. He breathed a sigh of relief as he knew that would have turned everyone's lives upside down. Kent also told Lex that he wouldn't remove Houston from the CEO position of Blackmore Ltd. Lydia was worried when Lex went missing. On the day of Cole's wedding to Madi, Lydia learned where Lex was and raced off. After Madi left Cole at the altar, Carmen pulled a gun on Houston and forced him and Celeste to admit that they switched Celeste and Stacey's babies! Turns out, Kent and Stacey's child was alive and being raised by Celeste and Mac. Stacey and Mac were reunited with baby Poppy.

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Kent and Stacey rejoiced in the fact that they had Poppy back and that Celeste and Houston were in jail. Kent continued to secretly lust after Stacey, despite his relationship with Lydia. He didn't realize that Lydia was insecure about how close he had become with her daughter. Vivian. They realized that they were going in circles and Stacey ended
their relationship. Kent and Vivian, seemingly, grew closer as a
result and Stacey left town to clear her head. Kent said goodbye to
her and Poppy before she left. Kent, however, decided that he wanted
to go back to work and returned to Blackmore Ltd. Houston was miffed
that his father returned because he thought he was doing a good job.
Vivian pleaded with them not to fight again at the company. Kent then
asked Lex to return to the company as well, but Lex said no because he
felt like the Rockwell’s needed him because of Mortimer’s death. Lex,
however, learned that Dyhannah was giving Kent information on the
Roboto deal. He demanded that Kent and Houston stop and do the right
thing. Kent pleaded with Lex not to say anything, but Lex took a
picture of the file and spilled to Lydia and Mac. Dyhannah continued
to feed information to Kent, but she was arrested. Kent was off the
hook as he only accepted information. Kent made a call to Natasha to
see if she would work with him. Shortly after, Dyhannah came back to
Kent and revealed that Vivian and Chase shared a kiss. Kent was
